A chili should not be judged by it’s shape and size. The same thing applied on a chili called Aji Charapita. It is smaller than a pea seed but it costs 27 Lakh Nepali Rupees per kilo.
The wild chili is found in Northern Peru and recently is being cultivated in industrial way.
The chili is used fresh and is popular for it’s taste. It can also be used as powder. The chili is still not very popular in Western countries but is used in many 5 star hotels.
It is also known as the mother of chilies and it is very hard to find. You need to go to Peru to buy it. Other than that it is so expensive that not everyone can buy it.
In the rating of hotness too it has been kept in 30 thousand to 50 thousand hit units. So it is also said, ‘It’s taste will burn a hole in your tongue and it’s price in your pocket. ‘
